KARRYON told you someone was going to dance at this year’s TravelManagers Conference in Hawaii; we just didn’t expect it to be practically everyone in attendance.
But wait, let’s backtrack.
Last you heard, some 350 Personal Travel Managers had touched down in the Hawaiian island of Oahu and unpacked their bikinis and sunscreen at the Prince Waikiki for their three-day conference running from 17-19 August.

They enjoyed some Hawaiian sun before Friday the 17th rolled around when they kicked into ‘professional’ gear (if by professional you mean wild, wacky and hilarious) for day one of the conference.
Hawaii Tourism’s Giselle Radulovic welcomed attendees to the island state before calling out her Polynesian pals for a quick lesson in the Hula.
Agents looked as graceful as they could learning the dancing form of storytelling.
If that wasn’t enough of a surprise, a trio of TravelManagers’ favourite National Partnership Office dancers reluctantly took to the stage for an encore performance.
Seriously, check out those hip sways…
You know a @TravelManagers conference is going to be good when there’s three lots of dancing BEFORE the welcome cocktails! Loved the spontaneous hula from the NPO trio. #TM2018HNL pic.twitter.com/sQwHBA8Jo8

Once the laughter stitches wore off, House of Travel’s Chief Executive, Joe Araullo, dropped jaws with news of TravelManagers’ partnership with Luxury Escapes (click here for more information), before TravelManagers’ General Manager, Michael Gazal announced a new mental health program called Network Assistance Program (click here for more information).
Then it was time for amazing Personal Travel Managers Nakita Bryne, Josh Faddoul and Erin Ross to bravely take the stage where they shared their secrets to success.
House of Travel’s Chris Paulsen thought he was wrapping up day one of the conference with an inspirational tale on House of Travel’s roots but was followed by some more dancing by performers from TravelManagers’ National Partnership Office…
And EVEN MORE spontaneous DANCING to classic tunes from Grease and Dirty Dancing by the Personal Travel Managers themselves…
It’s safe to say; they had the ‘time of their lives’ (yes, Time of My Life was one of the songs)…
Just when everyone thought they’d finished tearing up the dancefloor, attendees made their way to the Hilton Hawaiian Waikiki Lawn for a Hawaiian-themed welcome cocktail party.
They were lei’d.
Enjoyed good company.
Got their ‘hair did’.
And watched a breathtaking fireworks display.
