Flight Centre Travel Group will turbocharge its global cruise reach in a new agreement with travel tech provider Traveltek, using its Cruise API and iSell agent desktop solution to allow travel advisors to steer their business growth plans in the cruising sector.
Traveltek’s cruise product and technology will help drive FCTG’s growth across all major ocean and river cruise lines in a new global contract.
The extended contract will see the travel tech provider power cruise globally for the Group’s leisure businesses in North America, Canada, the UK and South Africa as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Travel advisors can tap into exclusive deals from 30 cruise lines via a single aggregated Cruise API and iSell.
The iSell booking engine features dynamic packaging solutions for cruise and tour itineraries powered by instant connectivity to suppliers.
Steering growth in global cruise markets
FCTG has partnered with UK-based Traveltek in the APAC region for 14-plus years and its cruise tech solutions will allow the Group to take advantage of further growth potential, especially in North America.
Traveltek Chief Commercial Officer Cressida Sergeant said they look forward to working closely with FCTG to help deliver the brand’s ambitious targets and tap into new cruise markets.
