With exactly 100 days to go until the 2024 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), the first nominees (in categories 21 to 31) have been revealed.
Commencing Monday (22 July 2024), voting for the NTIA 2024 winners is open to the entire Australian travel industry, which aims to ensure different viewpoints and skills are considered. However participants cannot vote for their own company.
Voting opens at 9am (AEST) and will close at 11.59pm on Friday, 9 August (AEST).
“We are excited to open the voting process for this year’s NTIAs,” Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) CEO Dean Long said.
“This is an opportunity for professionals within the industry to highlight and celebrate the achievements of their peers who have demonstrated exemplary dedication and innovation. We encourage everyone to get voting.

“Congratulations to all our nominees in the voted NTIA categories. This is a reflection of your exceptional contribution to promoting excellence in Australian voting.”
A record 1,715 peer nominations were received across 35 award categories for the 2024 NTIAs.
From this year, nominees needed to demonstrate a minimum Total Transaction Value (TTV) in order to qualify while finalists in the judged ATAS Accredited Business categories will have the opportunity to present their achievements to a panel of industry judges.
For the first time, NTIA will take place as a back-to-back event, with The Beyond Borders summit on Friday, 25 October and the NTIA gala the following evening.
“I strongly encourage everyone to buy their tickets now to avoid missing out on what promises to be an incredible celebration and an invaluable opportunity for learning and networking,” Long said.
Those looking to secure their spot at both events can secure their places at www.atia.travel.
