It was a smooth sailing start for 300 Travel Agents and their closest industry friends who gathered at Sydney’s Hyatt Regency for the 2019 Magellan Conference.
Literally smooth sailing as the Magellan Travel ‘welcome reception’ was held onboard a Clearview Glass Boat.
Consultants watched Sydney Harbour cruise past them as they reconnected over wine and nibblies thanks to sponsors Qantas Holidays, Atlantis the Palm and One&Only.
General Manager, Andrew Macfarlane told attendees that he was excited to open the group’s 10th annual conference, which will focus on the theme of ‘Shaping Our Future Together’.

Prior to officially kicking off the group’s 10th annual conference, Agents were given the opportunity to experience some of Sydney’s highlights, including 18 holes of golf at the Moore Park Golf Course (sponsored by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines).
Others enjoyed a leisurely start to the day with Club Med who treated them to a tour of Manly Quarantine Station along with wine and cheese.
