Former Bench Africa leaders Edwards & Neill launch The Explorer Society

Former Bench International Australian leaders, Martin Edwards and Cameron Neill have launched a brand new travel company called The Explorer Society.

Former Bench International Australian leaders, Martin Edwards and Cameron Neill have launched a brand new travel company called The Explorer Society.

Remember when travel used to be fun? The founding duo says The Explorer Society has been created for like-minded travellers looking to explore some of the most amazing destinations in the world.

According to their mission on their website, “It’s a place for people who travel for the destination and the incredible experiences to be found within, not just for the bragging rights.”

As such, the company will offer tailormade holidays and private tours for explorers seeking authentic experiences to destinations including Africa, the Middle East and South America.

Edwards said that “further destinations are also currently in the planning phase as well as a range of utterly unique exploration experiences from around the world.”

Speaking about the direction of the business, Neill says “current conditions aside, the world is more accessible than ever. By launching The Explorer Society we can truly offer destinations and experiences that we, and our travel community, are passionate about. We can be as exploratory in our product line as our travellers are with their travel interests.”

Operating as a fully remote business, the company says it is focused on developing modern and innovative ways to travel and to ensure smooth and seamless journeys for the post-pandemic traveller.

“In 2022 there will be an enormous pent up demand for travel and we want to use our lengthy travel experience to bring back the fun into travel,” says Edwards.

Neill adds “Looking for positives, the pandemic has given us a great chance to do something new and look at what we think could be improved. This is our opportunity to do things our way and to explore destinations with all of their elements, its nuances and its lessons.”

“I’m excited for travellers to see what we have in store for them,

“And, without giving too much away, I’m even more excited to see the destinations and experiences that we are still finalising,” he says.
