Get The Popcorn: Tourism Tasmania launches TasTalk... The Movie 2020

This year Tourism Tasmania was unable to deliver its TasTalk trade event in its standard face-to-face format. Thinking outside of the box, the team instead brought the TasTalk Trade event experience to the travel trade industry by presenting their trade show in a movie format.

This year Tourism Tasmania was unable to deliver its TasTalk trade event in its standard face-to-face format. Thinking outside of the box, the team instead brought the TasTalk Trade event experience to the travel trade industry by presenting their trade show in a movie format.

‘What is TasTalk…The Movie?’, we hear you say!

It is an opportunity for the travel trade to listen and connect with Tasmanian tourism operators and hear personal insights into the great products they have to offer.

Featuring the stars of the Tasmanian tourism industry, Tourism Tasmania has dubbed it as ‘a movie like no other’.

Hosted by Ange Boxall, a Tasmanian-born singer/songwriter, and presenter, Ange travels around Tasmania and meets operators to get the information the travel trade want to hear.

It’s movie time

A journey to Tasmania, a small island at the edge of the world, offers travellers a unique opportunity to reconnect with the things that matter the most.

Being an island, the community is strong. People are down-to-earth and welcoming. They are resourceful, innovative and creative. One of the joys of travelling in Tasmania is meeting the maker, whether it is at the local markets, cellar doors or farm gates.

With an abundance of fresh produce and seafood, this is an island that celebrates paddock to fork and ocean to plate. And with four distinct seasons, there’s always something new to see, taste and feel.

TasTalk…The Movie speaks to all of this and more.

Find out about special places to stay, how to get around with ease and style, where to eat and drink, and the many adventures on offer.

So get comfy, pour a glass of pinot and settle in as the scenic 1 hour 50 minute movie takes you on a trip around the spectacular island of Tasmania.
