Did you know that Type 1 diabetes is the fastest growing chronic disease in Australian children? Over 140,000 Australians are living with Type 1 and six new cases are recorded every day.
With Australia having the highest rate in the World, Donna Meads-Barlow, Founder of the Danii Meads-Barlow Foundation, is on a mission to get the industry involved and to roll out “in schools” education and advocacy programmes to assist kids.
You can help this foundation by clicking here and purchasing tickets to the Jelly Bean Ball.
This event is important as the fundraiser supports families by funding life-saving technology, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) alert technology for Adults and Children who struggle to manage this disease. Funds raised from the Jelly Bean Ball also contribute to the foundations work in advocacy and education in schools and the wider public. CGM saves lives.
“Get set for another cracker of a night. Tickets are now on sale. The event includes a three-course meal, beer, wine, soft drinks, music, entertainment, live & silent auctions and lots of dancing.”
