Helloworld South Melbourne Owner-Manager Janene Ferguson is celebrating a 33-year streak as a Helloworld Travel store manager as she welcomes two new members to the now eight-strong team.
Ferguson has spent an impressive 42 years in retail travel, from Harvey World Travel to Jetset Travel and now Helloworld Travel.
Helloworld Travel Group General Manager Retail Networks Nick Sutherland congratulated Ferguson on her milestone achievement of 33 years as a store owner.
“With 42 years in the travel industry, Janene has been a constant and trusted presence through the evolution of the Helloworld network,” he said.
“Her contribution and leadership have been widely recognised, including being named Helloworld Travel’s National Consultant of the Year in 2023 and State and National Retailer of the Year in 2019.
“It’s a remarkable milestone and a well-earned celebration. Congrats to Janene and her team,” he said.
The award-winning travel advisor recently welcomed two new members to her team with James Jang and Sophie Tirpkos joining the Helloworld South Melbourne store.
Jang brings 32 years’ experience and expertise as a Travel Consultant, while Tirpkos also contributes 30 years’ industry experience to her Admin Support role at Helloworld South Melbourne.
