Oceania’s signature Hawai’i travel roadshow returns to Australia and New Zealand in 2022 to stage the first post-pandemic series of Aloha Down Under events with a host of 14 accommodation, airline and attraction suppliers from across the Hawaiian Islands.

The 2022 Aloha Down Under series also marks its 10th anniversary this year. Hawai’i Tourism Oceania got the Aloha Down Under party started with a B2B function and Sydney roadshow on Monday 22 August, a media lunch on Tuesday 23 August, followed by events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland until Monday 29 August.

Hawai’i Tourism Oceania Account Director Jennifer Gaskin said Hawai’i’s popularity in Australasia makes the Aloha Down Under Roadshow an unmissable event and noted that overall optimism is back with Australian and New Zealand travellers ready to travel overseas again.

She also reiterated the major focus on the Malama Hawaii marketing campaign, which invites travellers to experience the Hawaiian Islands on a deeper level with a greater emphasis on connecting with the local culture, giving back to the destination and preserving it for the future.
