A swish ship arrival calls for an extravagant event, and that’s exactly what VIP clients of itravel Carlingford were treated to recently when the Scenic Eclipse II called into Sydney for the first time.
The exclusive event, organised by itravel Carlingford franchise owners Sue Todorovski and Emily Kadinski, saw 70 VIP clients get a close-up look at the new ship, with guests enjoying a prime spot at Sydney’s Quay Restaurant.
Along with a fine dining experience at the renowned establishment, the agency’s clients were treated to amazing views of Scenic’s new Discovery Yacht – courtesy of Quay’s vantage point on the upper level of the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT).
As well as giving the agency a chance to express its gratitude to past Scenic and Eclipse guests, the luncheon enabled clients to experience the vessel in their own city and hopefully build anticipation among newly booked Eclipse guests and potential cruisers.
Todorovski and Kadinski are big fans of Scenic cruises, with multiple cruises on the original Scenic Eclipse and its sister ship under their belts.
Given the 2024 Scenic Group Chairman’s Award for outstanding Partnership and Support for Scenic Eclipse Sales, Sue and Emily have also helped make itravel Carlingford one of Scenic’s loyal agency partners.
“Quay was the perfect setting for our clients: the ship to the right, the Harbour Bridge to the left and the Sydney Opera House straight ahead,” Kadinski said.
“The food and drinks were free flowing as was our clients’ chatter and excitement!
“After sailing on her (and her sister) a combined six times, both Sue and I were excited to show everyone what she was all about!
“We announced our next cruise and can’t wait to share it with many that were in the room.
“Sue said that it was an honour to be acknowledged in this year’s Scenic Eclipse Chairman’s awards – and to be one of the few in the country to get cuddles from the maritime masters (and the award of course) was the icing on top of an already magical day.”
