Tune into Nine and 9Now this Sunday and then prepare your travel agencies for a rush of inquiries because Helloworld the TV show premieres this Sunday…

… and it’ll be a good thing for all Travel Agents.

While designed to tap into consumer’s desires to travel, the show is also about encouraging people to book their holidays through a trusted, traditional channel – a Travel Agent.

Helloworld Travel Limited’s Head of Advertising and Promotions told KARRYON that the push to book through Agents will be achieved through the show’s call to action: “Visit your local Helloworld Travel Agent”.

“We will certainly be promoting and reinforcing the benefits of using of a Travel Agent and will highlight the myriad of experiences that your Agent can highlight to you so you can be sure to enjoy your best trip possible.”

“The show will also bring further advantages to our supplier partners by showcasing their product being experienced as a traveller would experience it – delivering that directly to our audience,” she added.

“Watching Sonia paddle in a canoe on incredible Lake Louise is a far more dynamic experience than just reading about it, and our network of Agents are ready to bring viewers travel dreams to life.”

Helloworld the TV show will also use special promotions to drive consumers back to Agents. Dominique said these offers will be linked to each destination or partner featured within the episode.

Episode one starts at 4.30pm on Sunday 7th October with a foodie tour of France and Italy, a canoe ride in Canada’s Rocky Mountains, and domestic explorations in Hamilton Island.

Sonia Kruger checks out the Canadian Rockies, beginning with a sightseeing trip at Lake Louise, where she finds one of the most peaceful ways to enjoy the lake – by canoe. Sonia then pops into the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, whose famous guests have included Queen Elizabeth and Alfred Hitchcock.
