Link Travel Group held its quarterly Advisory Board meeting in New Zealand recently for its first international foray, marking the official board catch-up with exclusive activities and a special dinner speaker as guests of Air New Zealand and Cordis Auckland.

The Australian-based invitation-only luxury member travel agency network’s Advisory Board meeting took place at the Air New Zealand Global Head Office in downtown Auckland.

After the meeting, board members had an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Air New Zealand’s Hangar 22, home of the carrier’s cutting-edge product development.

The Link Advisory Board sampled the next generation of premium products, including the game-changing Sky Nest.

The 5-star Cordis Auckland provided the venue for the customary Advisory Board dinner with pilot and author Captain Jeremy Burfoot aka ‘Ask the Captain’ as a guest speaker and hosted by Cordis Auckland’s retiring General Manager Franz Mascarenhas.

“Our quarterly Advisory Board Meetings are always a success as the group debates and plans the way forward for Link and this one was extra special,” he said.

“Being hosted by special partners, such as Air New Zealand and Cordis Auckland, was a privilege and their hospitality encompassed everything great about our partnership and our industry.”

Link Travel Group recently added four new agencies to its members-only luxury and corporate network.
