This week’s Tourism Fiji virtual roadshow has been all about the awesome Coral Coast, so we thought we’d bring you some added inspo to dream about. Missed the roadshows to date? You can catch them on-demand here.

This week saw the news that we finally have a trans-Tasman bubble with the hope now that a South Pacific bubble won’t be far behind.

Until then, Tourism Fiji is helping you prepare for future travels with its live virtual roadshows and destination inspiration to keep your clients dreaming of Fiji.

This week the roadshow focuses on Fiji’s famous Coral Coast, so let’s take a look at a few of the experiences you may not have heard of that this Aussie favourite slice of paradise has to offer…

1. Refresh yourself on the Mokusiga micro-brewery tour

Fiji Coral Coast

Yes! Fiji has micro-breweries too and The Kailoma Brewing Co. holds the claim as being Fiji’s first.

The Kailoma Brewing Co.’s sole purpose is to brew, bottle, and supply “Fiji time” to the world in the form of MOKUSIGA – Fiji’s premier boutique craft beer, brewed and distributed from the resort location.

The name MOKUSIGA (mo-koo-sing-a) is derived from two separate words in the Fijian language. “Moku” meaning “kill” and “Siga” meaning “day”. Used colloquially by locals as an expression for “killing time”, the word itself embodies the very essence of relaxing in Fiji; by the ocean, salty lips, sandy feet, under a coconut tree, laying in a hammock.

When in Fiji, you can tour this tropical brewery and taste the ice-cold, refreshing Pacific Lager, the fruity Cloudies Summer Ale and the rich Bula Bitter Brew.

The Projects Collective is Fiji’s home for ethical artisans, opened in June 2018, as a side-hustle, and maternity project by Fijian local Laura Cahir.

Here, beautiful thoughtful brands are infused with coffee, cocktails & craft beer! (You can see a theme here).

The Projects Collective showcases legendary artisans across the Pacific and is definitely worth a visit.

If you’re a golf-lover, Natadola Bay is for you.

This course blends world-class golf architecture with dramatic landscapes from rolling pastures through to absolute beachfront.

With the sparkling backdrop of coral reefs and the Pacific Ocean on 15 out of the 18 holes, keeping your concentration will certainly be a challenge! Not to mention the number of photos you’ll probably end up taking.

Styled in traditional South Pacific architecture the clubhouse is the ultimate vantage point for breathtaking views across the golf course, coral reefs and rolling surf breaks. No round will be complete without enjoying a meal and a beverage from the open-air bar and restaurant.
