You need to get creative to make self-isolation bearable. And when it comes to quirky ideas, Tori from X travel is leading the way by going into isolation dressed as a dinosaur.
And this proud Aussie travel professional living in New Zealand is truly the ray of light we all need in our lives right now!
She is spending her four weeks lockdown disguised as a dinosaur, and sharing the experience with us all through videos.
She debuted her off-beat plan this week with her first clip, which you can watch below, showing her new alter ego cycling off into the land of isolation.
This was followed up by dino’s first day working from home.
Tori is sharing the videos on her Facebook page where friends have told her that her videos are going to keep them sane throughout the lockdown. No pressure though!
Kudos to Tori for keeping such a positive attitude through these trying times, especially as she told us her business has been “horribly affected this absolutely awful Covid-19 nightmare”.
“For my clients, I can offer peace of mind and security in knowing that their future travel is in safe and secure hands, for my team I have been able to protect their jobs with our government subsidy (LOVE Jacinda), but I can’t provide a cure for everyone”.

“So the best thing I can do is provide a little light-hearted relief instead”.
“And if you get sick of me I’m sorry! I’ve luckily been blessed with an aggressively positive attitude.”
Keep the hilarious videos coming Tori!
And, how awesome is this? It’s not the first thoughtful thing Tori has done to keep travel industry spirits up during these trying times. She can be seen here baking treats for agents in Queenstown. What a legend.
