With six properties in Australia and Thailand, Amora Hotels & Resorts Owner & Director Earp Siriphatrawan said the new appointment will drive the group’s expansion across the Pacific and South-East Asia over the next five years.
“We are confident Rob and Rahul will both play pivotal roles in driving our hotels forward. Their combined expertise and dedication to excellence will further strengthen Amora Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality,” he said.

He has held numerous management positions at leading hotel chains, including most recently as Hotel General Manager at TFE Hotels, including the award-winning The Calile Hotel in Brisbane, and with Accor across properties in Australia, Vietnam and the UK.
Of his new role, Unson said: “After six months following the renovation and opening of Amora Brisbane, the market’s response has been very strong and I am looking forward to establishing the hotel as the top 5-star business hotel in Brisbane as the brand strengthens its reputation across the country.”
