PassportCard becomes Virtuoso luxury network regional partner across 61 agencies in Australia

The regional partnership connects PassportCard Australia with Virtuoso‘s member agencies nationwide, making its travel insurance products available to luxury and experiential travel specialists.

The by-invitation-only global network has more than 1,200 travel agency locations and 20,000 travel advisors across 58 countries with annual sales of USD$35 billion (around AUD$50 billion).

The network links advisors with a curated portfolio of luxury hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines and destinations, drawing on preferred relationships with 2,800 hotels and resorts worldwide.

For network advisors in Australia, the tie-up provides access to a suite of travel insurance products, dedicated advisor support, including a Sydney-based customer service team and 24/7 emergency assistance and its instant claims capability.

The insurer loads approved claims directly onto a prepaid card while travellers are overseas, allowing them to manage unexpected costs in real time without dipping into personal funds or waiting for reimbursement after they return home. On-trip claims are paid in approximately 10 minutes on average.

PassportCard Australia CEO Peter Klemt said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to a travel insurance experience aligned with the expectations of the luxury traveller.
