Chimu Adventures has welcomed experienced travel industry professional Valentina Ferrera as its newest Destination Specialist, bringing firsthand knowledge and expertise of her home country, Chile, and South America to the Reservations team.
As demand for Polar and Latin American travel experiences continues to increase, Chimu Adventures is also growing as a company with an experienced team of Destination Specialists whose deep industry knowledge assists consumers and trade partners.
With a successful career in travel, sales and management, Ms Ferrera’s previous roles include managing the South American team at Adventure World Travel and providing booking support on the Client Services team at AAT Kings Australia.
She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Tourism and a Bachelor of Applied Management.
Based in Chimu’s Sydney office, Ms Ferrera looks forward to sharing her passion for travel, especially to her home country, in her new role as Destination Specialist.
“I have a special place in my heart for Latin America, not only because I was born in Chile but because of all the beautiful things this amazing destination has to offer,” she said.
