Explore Worldwide is upping the stakes Down Under, appointing Emma Fehon as Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
According to the adventure tour operator, Fehon joins the company at a key time, as Explore Worldwide experiences record growth in the region.
Emma’s arrival also underlines Explore’s commitment to the Australasian market, with the team doubling in size since launching in early 2023 and opening a new Brisbane office.
In addition, the AU/NZ team recently surpassed its annual sales target, achieved 58 per cent year-on-year growth and recorded its biggest sales day ever.

Fehon brings deep marketing experience in tourism across Australia, New Zealand and international markets. She has led major tourism campaigns in Canada, Singapore and South Korea and held senior roles, including Marketing Manager for Cairns and Mackay Airports.
The company says her experience in driving growth aligns with the brand’s ambitious plans for the region.
“Emma’s impressive background in tourism and strategic marketing aligns perfectly with our vision for Explore,” Explore Worldwide Regional Director AU/NZ, Ben Ittensohn, said.
“We’re excited to welcome her to the team during this growth period for us, and confident her work will drive continued success and strengthen our partnerships with the travel trade.”

Emma added, “I’m excited to help shape the future of the Explore brand in this region and build a large regional marketing team to support our continued growth”.
“It was important to me to join a purpose-led business for the next step in my tourism career. I’m passionate about promoting responsible adventure travel and delivering unforgettable experiences for our customers.”
Earlier this year, Karryon spoke to Explore Worldwide Managing Director Michael Edwards, who said the company had seen travel advisor bookings nearly double since 2019, with Australia leading the way in overall business growth.
