Movers + Shakers: Hong Kong Tourism appoints Karen Prideaux as Senior Manager, Trade Marketing

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has announced Karen Prideaux as its new Senior Manager of Trade Marketing.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has announced Karen Prideaux as its new Senior Manager of Trade Marketing.

Based in the Sydney office, Ms Prideaux will spearhead business development and trade marketing strategies to elevate Hong Kong’s profile as a premier travel destination.

Her focus will also include promoting the city as a leading hub for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and cruise tourism across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

Ms Prideaux brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held destination marketing experience with renowned organisations, including Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, KMI Consulting and Events, the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, and Disney Destinations International.

HKTB said her expertise in sales and marketing will be pivotal in advancing HKTB’s trade initiatives and brand awareness in the region. 

Hong Kong Tourism Board said it “looks forward to Karen’s contributions and invites all industry partners to welcome her to the team.
