Imagine Cruising has appointed former Virgin Voyages Sales Manager Pam Nielsen as Head of Trade Partnerships, bolstering its travel trade network across Australia and New Zealand.
Brisbane-based Nielsen joins the cruise and travel specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial growth and strategic partnerships across the travel and tourism sector.
Most recently, she was Sales Manager Australia & New Zealand for Virgin Voyages, where she helped expand the brand’s presence and deepen engagement with travel advisors throughout the region.
Before that, Nielsen worked with Journey Beyond, driving trade growth across some of Australia’s best-known rail and touring experiences, as well as more than 10 years’ tenure as a BDM with ANZCRO.
At Imagine Cruising, which runs its Australian operation from Milton in Brisbane, Nielsen will lead the company’s trade strategy with a focus on expanding B2B partnerships, strengthening advisor engagement and delivering long-term value for agency partners.
The company packages cruise itineraries with rail, land and touring components, working closely with travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand.
The hire adds another experienced trade-facing leader to Imagine Cruising’s local team as it builds out its advisor-facing presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
