Travel industry insiders will notice some internal movements at Linkd Tourism with Trina Shepherd stepping up into a PR Director maternity cover role while Michal Zdanowicz joins the travel representation agency as Senior Account Executive.
Trina Shepherd will take over the role of PR Director during Polly Simmons’ maternity leave, commencing 15 February 2024 until early 2025.
Ms Shepherd has been Linkd Tourism’s PR Manager for two years, managing accounts including New York State Tourism, Kyushu Tourism Organization and Aqua-Aston Hospitality.
In addition to her clients, she will direct the PR team and lead the company’s destination and tourism product accounts in Australia.
Michal Zdanowicz joins the team as Senior Account Executive after previously working in PR and marketing roles for Scenic and Tourism Western Australia.
In a hybrid role, Michal will manage trade relations and marketing for New York State Tourism and support the PR team across all destinations represented by the agency.
Both hires are Sydney-based and will start their new roles immediately.
