Movers + Shakers: Baillie Lodges appoints Justine Lally as new Marcomms GM

Well-known travel industry professional Justine Lally will join Baillie Lodges in the newly created role of General Manager of Marketing & Communications, overseeing all omnichannel marcomms strategies for the hospitality group.

Well-known travel industry professional Justine Lally will join Baillie Lodges in the newly created role of General Manager of Marketing & Communications, overseeing all omnichannel marcomms strategies for the hospitality group.

The new senior role will cement Baillie Lodges’ premium position and steer it for the future as its property portfolio continues to grow in Australia and overseas.

A highly regarded tourism industry veteran, Ms Lally has 20 years’ experience leading marketing strategy and initiatives across the travel, experience economy and events sectors.

Most recently the General Manager of Marketing at Journey Beyond, she has also held senior leadership roles at Food + Wine  Victoria and APT Travel Group.

Her breadth of experience neatly dovetails with the Baillie Lodges brand of high-end experiential tourism, including the reopening of the company’s flagship Southern Ocean Lodge after bushfires in December 2023.

Baillie Lodges COO Craig Bradbery was delighted to secure a tourism marketing professional of such high standing for the key role.

Ms Lally will complement General Manager of Sales, Distribution & Partnerships Kylie Stever with both senior leadership roles integral to the ongoing evolution and growth of the business. 

The Australia-based collection of properties includes Longitude 131° at Uluru-Kata Tjuta, Capella Lodge on Lord Howe Island, Silky Oaks Lodge at the Daintree Rainforest, and The Louise in the Barossa Valley.

Internationally, Baillie Lodges acquired Chile’s Tierra Hotels group, Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge in Canada and New Zealand’s Huka Lodge.
