With over two decades of industry experience in senior management roles, Zoran Panzich has joined FCTG Independent in the role of national account manager.
According to FCTG Independent, Panzich has held “prominent positions” across numerous segments within the travel industry for the past 20 years, most notably driving growth at Helloworld Travel over the last decade.
Overseeing a network of more than 500 franchisees and members, Panzich helped expand and refine both national and state retail portfolios within the organisation.
FCTG Independent says the new recruit’s “prowess” also extended to the online travel agency (OTA), consolidation and wholesale domains.
In his new role, Panzich’s responsibilities will include cultivating key relationships, providing holistic support for key accounts, maximising commercial returns, enhancing operational efficiencies and improving overall customer service.
Moreover, he will take on a supporting position for all other units within the Independent business.
The group says the new appointment underlines its “commitment to fortify its position as a leader in the industry”.
