Globus family of brands has appointed three new Business Development Managers – Anji Tierney, Matthew Beggs and Natalie Hemms – expanding the GFOB team to meet the demand of Aussie travellers in 2023 and beyond and drive sales growth.
Anji Tierney joins GFOB as the new BDM for Queensland South and West regions and has extensive experience in the region.
Before the pandemic, Ms Tierney was a key figure at Bench Africa nationally and in Queensland and has held numerous leadership and store roles with Flight Centre.
Matthew Beggs has more than nine years’ experience in the travel industry, including three years as a Topdeck Tour Leader in Europe and three years in sales and business development for Topdeck, Flight Centre and Welcome to Travel.
Mr Beggs is passionate about being out on the road, meeting new people and championing the GFOB portfolio in his new role as BDM for NSW North.
Natalie Hemms joins GFOB as BDM for NSW South and ACT after four years with Collette along with experience as a home-based travel agent for itravel and in the Qantas MICE and Groups team.
Until recently, she was a part-time casual teacher at TAFE NSW, where she passed on her industry experience to the next generation of aspiring travel and tourism professionals.
