After its acquisition by OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group in July 2023, the now OUTRIGGER Kā‘anapali Beach Resort has announced Edwin Torres as the General Manager.
Mr Torres will lead OUTRIGGER Kā‘anapali Beach Resort with a commitment to helping staff, their families and the community in the aftermath of the Lahaina wildfires in Maui.
The 432-room OUTRIGGER Kā‘anapali Beach Resort on the award-winning Kā‘anapali Beach is the Group’s newest beach resort.
A hospitality industry stalwart, Mr Torres was promoted from Complex General Manager, overseeing both the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel and OHANA Waikiki East by OUTRIGGER since February 2023.
Before that, he was General Manager of the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel since 2021.
In his new role, Mr Torres will lead the beachfront resort, delivering exceptional service and authentic guest experiences while ensuring operational profitability and host engagement and development.

OUTRIGGER Kā‘anapali Beach Resort is the latest addition to the Hawai‘i-based resort company’s multi-branded portfolio, which operates globally, including Fiji, Mauritius, Thailand and the Maldives.
