Australian health and travel insurance provider nib has announced Amber Kelly as the new nib Travel Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand to drive travel insurance sales in the travel agency sector across the ANZ market.
In her new role, Ms Kelly will lead the nib Travel partnership team and forge strategic commercial relationships with agency and retail partners.
She joins nib after eight years at Express Travel Group where she was most recently the Head of Product & Events, responsible for product sales, partnerships and marketing for agency and partner brands.
She also has prior industry experience with sales, marketing and product roles at STA Travel, Tempo Holidays and African Wildlife Safaris.
Ms Kelly said she was extremely excited to join nib at such a pivotal time.
“The travel industry is in a high-growth phase, coming out of COVID with terrific momentum,” she said.
“It’s important to build the right relationships with key partners, leveraging some of the great tools and technology we have at nib, to help them build their businesses and ours.”
