The Crooked Compass team continues to grow with Sarah Arane joining in the newly created role of Relationship and Solutions Manager.
Also known as The VP of Miscellaneous, Crooked Compass says Sarah’s role will incorporate sales, operations, customer service and other aspects of the business as Crooked Compass re-builds.
With 10 years of travel industry experience, most recently as Sales Manager at Quark Expeditions, Sarah has spent the past 18 months working outside the travel industry while the pandemic forced travel industry professionals to get creative.
“It’s an amazing feeling to be re-joining the travel industry after the pandemic- almost like coming home,” Sarah says.
“Travelling Crooked Compass style is such a WOW experience that when the opportunity came up to join Lisa, it was an adventure too good to miss out on!”
Crooked Compass Founder, Lisa Pagotto, said of the appointment, “In such a tough climate to find staff, I am thrilled to have Sarah join us with her extensive industry relationships, sales background and ‘go get ’em’ attitude. She will be an integral part of the Crooked Compass family.“
The tours range continues to grow as well, with three new tours this week, including Trekking Wild Patagonia, Southern Morocco and Western Sahara, as well as an extensive tour through three provinces of Papua New Guinea, taking in the Goroka Festival, Madang and the Sepik River.
