Flight Centre Travel Group and Scott Dunn have appointed Alison Zacher to the role of Global Managing Director.

Flight Centre Travel Group and Scott Dunn have appointed Alison Zacher to the role of Global Managing Director.

Zacher joins the Scott Dunn business from Corporate Traveller, part of the Flight Centre Travel Group, where she was Global Director of Operations and Sustainability. She brings more than 20 years of experience, gained in a variety of roles across multiple brands.

A passionate advocate of women in leadership and creating leaders of the future, Alison has been instrumental in developing many senior leaders within the group and has been a driving force in the fast-track leadership programme – something which she is excited about continuing in her new role.

“We are delighted to welcome Ali Zacher to the Scott Dunn family,” said Danielle Galloway, Flight Centre Travel Group’s Global Managing Director for Luxury and Independent Brands.

“She brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for travel that aligns perfectly with Scott Dunn’s values. We are confident that her leadership and vision will drive the next chapter of growth and innovation at Scott Dunn, ensuring we continue to set the standard for exceptional, tailored travel experiences.”

“Travel is more than just a passion—it’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and create memories that last a lifetime,” said Alison Zacher the newly appointed Global Managing Director.

“My vision is to build on Scott Dunn’s heritage of exceptional service, while exploring new ways to elevate our offerings and inspire more people to experience the joy of travel in a meaningful and personalised way.”

Flight Centre Travel Group announced its acquisition of Scott Dunn in early 2023.

FCTG recently reported it had achieved a $320 million underlying profit before tax (PBT) for the 2023/24 financial year (FY24); and a 131 per cent rise in profit and record transactions for FY24.
