Polar travel company Quark Expeditions has boosted its global sales team following on from a record 2023.
Among the raft of new appointments, Quark Expeditions Global Partnership Sales Senior Director Beth Mercier announced that Tenille Hunt has been promoted to Regional Sales Director, APAC.

At the 2022 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), Hunt also took out the gong for Most Outstanding Sales Executive – Cruise.
“We are absolutely thrilled to start 2024 by enhancing the best sales team in the expedition cruise industry with tremendous appointments supporting every market we serve,” Quark Expeditions Chief Customer Officer Paul Brousseau said.
“Reflecting unprecedented revenue driven by our worldwide relationships over the past year, our sales organisation continues to grow to support our valued travel advisors globally.”
Elsewhere, Stephanie Mariotti joins the company as Regional Sales Director, Americas, supported by three new team leaders, while Eric Liu joins Quark as China Regional Managing Director as the company looks to tap further into the Chinese market.
New year, new sale
To kick start the year, Quark Expeditions has launched its 2024 Arctic Escape Sale, which gives travellers the chance to explore the Northern Lights and the world of the polar bear.
Named Best Expedition Cruise Line for 2023 by Virtuoso’s global network of luxury travel experts, Quark Expeditions is offering select 2024 Arctic voyages in Spitsbergen and Greenland at 30 per cent off – plus an extra 10 per cent off some trips when paid in full at the time of booking.
