Starts at 60 Group, the media, content marketing and travel retail company for Baby Boomers, has purchased Travel Central Australia to amplify its travel division and introduce an expanded range of holiday packages for the retiree market.
Queensland-based Starts at 60 was founded in 2013 and moved into the travel retail sector in 2018, building a marketplace, travel-packaging team and full-service travel call centre in its Brisbane offices.
Starts at 60 has more than 1.2 million monthly users and added its travel brand, Travel at 60, amid growing demand for travel packages through its highly engaged community.
NSW-based Travel Central Australia was founded 20 years ago by Rodney and Nuch Pattison and has a loyal following with a database aligned to the Baby Boomer community and the opportunity to introduce an expanded range of packages.
Starts at 60 Travel CEO Wendy Harch said the acquisition of Travel Central is a welcome partnership with its existing travel brand, Travel at 60.
