In what’s already been a busy week of new role announcements for The Travel Corporation (TTC), the company has today shared the news of an additional two expanded Australia and New Zealand leadership roles designed to further enhance collaboration with agent partners.

Following The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) new global re-organisation of their International Tour Brands, the combined Australia and New Zealand region announced two new TTC leadership roles.

Under the direction of TTC OZ/NZ CEO Dave Hosking, the company has announced that long time TTC executive Scott Cleaver will now have an expanded role as Director of Trade Engagement.

Working across all TTC brands and partners in Australia and New Zealand, TTC says Cleaver’s new role will ensure even better trade collaboration and maximise opportunities as the company emerges from the pandemic and beyond. This remit will combine with his overseeing of TTC’s global DMC assets and aims to create additional business opportunities.

“Travel agents have always been and will remain key to our forward plans,” said Cleaver.

“We will continue to invest in their success. This newly created position is a recognition of the increasingly important role the travel agent community has demonstrated they play in helping consumers navigate travel in today’s world. We highly value Travel Agents as key to our joint success, and we are creating a better structure to serve them well.”

Well respected Louise Levesque will also assume an elevated position of GM TTC Brands – New Zealand, with a core focus on local partnerships and brand, needs specific to the New Zealand market.

Levesque said, “I’m excited to be part of the new TTC set-up that will ensure our New Zealand office is catering to the needs of our Travel Agent partners. This new operating structure provides our guests and partners with better support and allows a more flexible and efficient way of working here in New Zealand.”

Longstanding TTC executive Mark Turner will continue as Managing Director for TTCNZ, alongside his broader projects’ role with TTC globally.
