Movers + Shakers: The Walshe Group reshapes commercial team as Delta expands in Australia

The Walshe Group has reshaped part of its commercial and sales structure, announcing a senior internal promotion alongside a broader refresh of its team supporting Delta Air Lines in Australia.

The Walshe Group has reshaped part of its commercial and sales structure, announcing a senior internal promotion alongside a broader refresh of its team supporting Delta Air Lines in Australia.

The changes come as the airline continues to expand its footprint locally, with new services and increased capacity driving demand across key Australian gateways.

Within the Walshe Group, Nicole Bennett has stepped into the role of Commercial Manager, moving into a corporate position focused on long-term growth. Bennett brings a decade of experience with the business and a strong track record in sales leadership.

Elsewhere, Nicole Laurie has been appointed Sales Manager Australia (Agency) for Delta. The newly created role will see her lead national agency sales activity, working closely with the airline’s local leadership team.

Meanwhile, Clint Jones continues in NSW as Senior Sales Executive (Agency), providing continuity across one of Delta’s key markets. 

Finally, Yvette Montell joins as Sales Executive (Agency) for Victoria, strengthening trade engagement in the state.

The appointments follow a period of growth for Delta in Australia, including new routes to Melbourne and Brisbane, along with increased frequencies on its Melbourne services from October.

Recruitment is also underway for a Brisbane-based sales role, signalling further investment in the local market.

All Delta sales team members within the Walshe Group will report to Country Manager Kelly Clive, Australia and New Zealand.
