Movers + Shakers: Accor Pacific changes regional leadership lineup

Accor Pacific has announced an updated senior leadership team for its operations in Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and Fiji to drive profitable growth and elevate the guest experience further in the region.

The hotel operator has appointed four new roles and created new regional divisions within the Accor Pacific operations.

Scott Boyes is promoted to Senior Vice President Hotel Operations of the newly designated Pacific North region, which includes NSW, ACT, Queensland and NT.

Mr Boyes will lead operational excellence for Accor’s Premium, Midscale and Economy hotels in the north of the Pacific and has worked in Accor operations for 28 years with strong expertise and knowledge of the North Pacific region.

Adrian Williams is the new Senior Vice President Hotel Operations of the new Pacific South region, which includes Victoria, Tasmania, SA, WA, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia. 

Mr Williams will be responsible for Accor’s Premium, Midscale and Economy hotels in the Pacific South region, and brings more than 30 years’ hotel operations and senior leadership experience to the role.

Danesh Bamji is the new Vice President Franchise, Pacific. He will be responsible for leveraging Accor’s brand, marketing, sales, customer engagement, digital and loyalty strategies and the delivery of franchisee systems, tools and resources to optimise hotel performance and profitability.

To provide dedicated support for the Sofitel, MGallery and Emblem hotels and restaurants, Marcus Hanna is the new Vice President Operations Pacific, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblem.

Accor is the largest hotel operator in Australia and New Zealand and operates 19 international brands from luxury to economy across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia. This includes the newly launched Handwritten Collection.
