Entire Travel Group added seven full-time staff to its sales support team as the company prepares for dramatic growth this year. The new hires expand its Canada, Islands and Europe sales teams ahead of travel demand for the Northern Hemisphere summer.
The new ETG team members come from diverse travel backgrounds, including frontline and managerial roles across retail and wholesale sectors.
They met in Sydney for an intensive onboarding program, which included training on ETG’s pre-designed, independent holiday packages and website booking platform.
ETG Sales & Marketing Director Greg McCallum said the feedback from two team members, both ex-Flight Centre consultants, perfectly captured the group’s first impressions.
“Both said they wished they’d known more about Entire’s website when they were in retail because it would have saved an enormous amount of time and created all sorts of efficiencies.”
Mr McCallum said the rapid expansion of the sale support team reflects the company’s confidence that the overseas travel demand will grow over the next 12 months.
“We expect record-level enquires this year as pent-up demand is fully unleashed. We intend to stay ahead of that surge, so we are investing now to ensure our travel agent partners consistently enjoy the highest levels of support throughout 2023.”
