Brand-new cruise line Explora Journeys has appointed PEPR Agency in Australia and New Zealand to promote and raise awareness of the new luxury lifestyle ocean travel brand, which is due to launch in May 2023.
Privately owned by MSC Group, Explora Journeys will debut with a splash with first vessel EXPLORA I launching in July 2023 and building up to a fleet of six ships by 2028.
At 248m in length, the 922-passenger EXPLORA I has a modern boutique hotel vibe with a 1.25 to 1 guest-host ratio.
The luxury small ship features 461 all-oceanfront suites, starting at 35sqm; and will focus on culinary experiences with six restaurants and 12 bars; along with a spa and four pools.
EXPLORA I’s maiden season will sail to northern Europe and the UK followed by North America and the Caribbean.
The company’s unique selling proposition is to connect travellers with the ocean, themselves and their environments.
Explora Journeys offers a blend of popular destinations and lesser-known ports, focusing on a slower pace with more time in each location. This ensures guests are immersed in the local culture and environment, while not leaving their mark on the destination.
The Geneva-based cruise line has appointed Nicole Costantin as its VP/Head of Sales for Asia Pacific.
