On 11 March 2023, in Sydney’s Luna Park Big Top, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia will host its 20th Cruise Industry Awards.
The CLIAs bring together the industry’s brightest stars from across Australia and New Zealand in a big celebration that recognises their outstanding achievements. But next year’s CLIAs are particularly significant.
This will be the first CLIA Awards in three years, and entertainer Tim Campbell will return as host of a night that is set to celebrate not only the region’s best and brightest, but also its most tenacious and resilient.
“Over the past few years, we’ve seen extraordinary courage and conviction from our travel agent members who have rallied behind cruising and helped put us back on a course for recovery,” CLIA Managing Director Australasia Joel Katz said.
“This is the perfect time to bring back The CLIAs and celebrate the stars of the Australian and New Zealand cruise community.”
Who will be honoured?
Eighteen award categories will be judged, including the new category Cruise Line Champion. Eleven categories are open to self-nomination or peer-nomination.
The awards are open to all current CLIA members in Australia and New Zealand, with nominations closing November 30, 2022.

- Agency Cruise Promotion of the Year – Australia
