Travel Associates members recently had the time of their lives as they enjoyed the wonders of beautiful Chile with luxury wholesaler andBeyond.

Hosted by andBeyond Australia and New Zealand Sales Representative, Norman Harper, Travel Associates advisors Liza Noakes, Karen Majsay, Melinda Spain, Andrea Svarc, Kelly West, Alan Reis and Craig Stepnell were whisked away to enjoy the best of and beyond in Chile.

The journey began with two nights at the Ritz Carlton in Santiago. A city tour offered a fantastic orientation to the capital before ending up at a local bar known as ‘the flea pit’, with a lot of character, history and a flow of drinks such as ‘terramotto’ or earth quake.

Going beyond Santiago, the group travelled into the wild, rugged wilderness of Patagonia to stay at the stunning Explora. Perfect weather allowed for an exhilarating hike to the Grey Glacier, followed by a cruise on the Grey Lake.

Travelling on from Patagonia was Pucon. Here the advisors were spoilt with a stay at the new andBeyond Vira Vira Lodge. For some group members, it was their first introduction to the andBeyond experience, while for others who were familiar with andBeyond, they described it like “coming home”.

Highlights from Pucon included horse riding during a heavy snow fall, a snow-shoe trek in three feet of snow to a lake and a cooking demonstration by the Relais Chateaux accredited chef.

Last stop on the incredible itinerary was the dry and arid Atacama Desert in the north, where the group enjoyed three nights at the Tierra.
