A movement to stop silencing women’s voices in corporate Australia is underway and KARRYON readers are encouraged to take advantage of the training AND a 20% discount.
LJ Loch, who has worked with many of Australia’s high-profile travel brands, says the Outspoken Women business she runs with journalist Louise Pascale grew out of a need to empower female talent in Australian industry.
“I know from experience the Australian travel landscape is incredibly competitive for women starting out in their careers or mid-career,” LJ said.
“After looking back on our careers, we both realised that in some cases it didn’t matter that we were the most talented, experienced or passionate people in the room. Being talked over in meetings or on industry panels, having our ideas dismissed or claimed by men in the room, suffering from imposter syndrome is something many women tell us they share.”
