In response to what has been some tough recent weeks, to say the least for the entire travel industry, award-winning South Australian travel company Phil Hoffmann Travel sent this heartfelt letter below to their clients and the wider Adelaide community.
The letter featured in the local press as well as across all of their communication channels directly to their customers.
Phil Hoffmann Travel’s journey humbly began from Gordon Street, Glenelg, Adelaide in 1990 with just Phil and two staff. Thirty years later, with over 200 staff, ten branches and ten National Awards to their name, the group is now sending this positive message;

Over the last 30 years as a leader in the travel industry, Phil Hoffmann Travel has been privileged to send people all over the world.
Entrusted with making the dreams of many South Australians come true.
We have watched as travel has slowly emerged into the mainstream, firmly ingrained in the fabric of our lives, with a need to explore and discover. During this time, we thought we had seen it all, global events, the GFC, SARS, Terrorism, and mother nature, and now we have a new challenge that is impacting the world in unprecedented ways.
At Phil Hoffmann Travel, we have been closely monitoring the situation of COVID-19 in real-time based on the advice of the World Health Organisation, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Centre for Disease Control and with our trusted travel partners to ensure we can provide you with the very best service and advice.
Whilst we are not medical experts, we live and breathe travel. We understand the unknown is causing great concern and our number one priority at this time is to use our vast experience to offer the support, expert travel advice and care you deserve.
