The industry loves her, but yet the industry is also just a tad jealous of her right now after finding out she’s going to Las Vegas for a week of all things luxury and travel.
Her name is… Claire Haggarty.
The Trade Marketing Manager at Insight Vacations and TIME Graduate was selected as the winner of TIME’s one-spot giveaway to this year’s Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas.
Haggarty said she was “mind-blown” to have won the Virtuoso Las Vegas Travel Week Scholarship over the many TIME graduates.
“Just making the short-list felt like a win to me.”

Penny Spencer, TIME Founder, said she was “excited” for Claire to experience the week-long industry event, where she’ll gain “insights into the world’s best agencies and suppliers” as well as build contacts and expand her knowledge.
According to TIME, a large number of applications were submitted for the Virtuoso Travel Week Scholarship, which were narrowed down to four finalists and then a single recipient.
Virtuoso Asia Regional Director, Evan Pierce, said he was “delighted” by the quality of finalists and selecting just one to attend was “really challenging”.
Virtuoso Travel Week takes place in Las Vegas between 11-17 August 2018.
Meanwhile, Haggarty encouraged others to get involved in the TIME program, saying it’s more than just mentoring, it’s about “connections and presenting ambitious people with opportunities like this even after completing the program”.
“TIME’s mentors are such generous people, and I know they get as much out of the program as their mentees do.”

“My mentor, the amazing Fiona Dalton, remains a friend, an advocate and sounding board long after my graduation.
“Fiona is as excited as I am about going to Virtuoso Travel Week.”
