TravelManagers‘ Personal Travel Managers (PTMs) were among the first from the Asia Pacific region to hop aboard Rocky Mountaineer’s new Rockies to the Red Rocks journey from Moab, Utah to Denver, Colorado in America’s Southwest.
The Rockies to the Red Rocks itinerary provided ample opportunities to soak up amazing scenery, such as Ruby Canyon, Mount Garfield and Glenfield Springs, with the rail journey also crossing the Continental Divide.
The two-day Rocky Mountaineer luxury experience was part of a six-day famil itinerary and the PTMs relished the opportunity to experience the luxury product, which launched for a preview season in 2021 and commenced its full 2022 season in April.

Rail travel fan and PTM Tanya Tyler said of the experience: “The rail journey was packed with spectacular scenery and there was plenty of staff on board to make sure we enjoyed a truly 5-star experience.”
“There were options for each meal and all the meals were beautifully served at your seat.”
She was joined by fellow PTMs Joanne Haines and Vicki Odea on the trip.

With time free in Denver at the conclusion of the rail journey, Ms Haines says she enjoyed having the opportunity to take in a baseball game and treat herself to a little retail therapy along the two-kilometre expanse of the city’s 16th Street Mall.
“This was my first post-pandemic famil and it was such a great feeling to be out in the world again, doing what I love,” she said.
