Hurtigruten has launched a new booking portal, custom-designed exclusively for Australian and New Zealand agents.
Offering a seamless, user-friendly booking experience and an engaging resource and learning centre, the NEW Hurtigruten Agent Portal is part of Hurtigruten’s ongoing commitment to providing industry-leading, streamlined and efficient tools for managing all sales activities.
“The development of our state-of-the-art portal has been a focus for us since we launched our new Australian office last year,” says Damian Perry, Managing Director Hurtigruten Asia Pacific.
“The travel agent community is so important to our business, and our new portal will provide them with a robust, user-friendly resource for learning, planning, booking, and promoting the wonderful experiences Hurtigruten has to offer their clients.”
Damian Perry, Managing Director Hurtigruten Asia Pacific.
The new Hurtigruten Agent Portal provides a single location for all travel agent engagement, where users can access key brand and sales promotion information, find essential marketing materials, and manage all itinerary planning and bookings in the one location.
The Hurtigruten portal also features easy to use navigation panes, step-by-step “how-to” videos, convenient cruise locator functions and much more.
Portal highlights include:
- Detailed ship information including deck plans, individual cabin specifications, and images.
- Specific ship and itinerary training modules as well as general and destination information.
- All the latest offer details and associated marketing collateral.
- Downloadable brochure PDFs to share with clients.
- Live availability and real-time bookings.
Hurtigruten invited a select group of agents to test-drive the portal pre-launch, and they reportedly loved it.
“Out of the 50 cruise lines we represent, this new portal of yours is by far the most informative, user-friendly reservation system we have. there is an incredible amount of information there but it’s all so helpful and will save us a lot of time poring through your website or calling Hurtigruten direct”, said Kirsten Wise, Senior Boutique Voyage & Cruise Specialist, Cruise Traveller.
“I would like to say how user-friendly it is, particularly with regard to the ability to access ship, cabin and itinerary information from almost any page you are on rather than having to search individually. Once we get to know it better, it will be so quick to quote, answer questions and make a booking within a few minutes.”
Louise Bowen, Boutique Voyage & Cruise Specialist, Cruise Traveller
“We’re very excited to share our new portal with travel agents, and feedback from our testing group has been enthusiastic. We’re really pleased to be able to offer this great new service to our valued agents,” says Perry.
