Is it safe to visit Egypt? Will our clients be fine? Are Aussies returning? Are the ancient sites still as wondrous as ever? If you’re looking for answers, ask these Travel Advisors.
A group of lucky consultants were recently flown over to Africa for a special nine-day tour through Egypt, which saw them meet the ancient Pharaohs and enjoy Arabian hospitality.
A highlight of the King Tutankhamun tour with On The Go Tours was standing before the towering Pyramids and posing next to the Sphinx at Giza Plateau.
Consultants enjoyed a guided tour ravelling north to 4000-year-old Luxor where they saw the Temple of Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and hopped on a Nile felucca cruise.
In addition to seeing first-hand how tourism is returning to the bucket list country, Travel Advisors learned from On The Go Tours that bookings for Egypt have been on the rise since 2015 and there was an incredible 102 percent jump in bookings in 2018 compared to 2017.
As On The Go Tours’ first destination back in 1998, Egypt is considered their specialist destination. All guides have degrees in Egyptology and on average around nine years’ experience working with the company.
