TAG Amplify conference celebrates collaboration & innovation as APAC growth takes off

The annual TAG Amplify conference brought team members and supplier partners together in Melbourne from 14–16 May 2026 as the global travel and event management company celebrated robust momentum and ongoing growth.

The annual TAG Amplify conference brought team members and supplier partners together in Melbourne from 14–16 May 2026 as the global travel and event management company celebrated robust momentum and ongoing growth.

TAG marked a successful year across all regions with strong revenue growth, driven by several new client wins, and significant momentum for its entertainment division.

The TMC saw a rise in production travel and reported a successful APAC touring season, supporting more than 1,000 tours.

TAG’s Chief Revenue Officer Shane Barr and Chief People Officer Vicki Marcroft shared global business updates, while panel discussions highlighted industry insights at the conference’s Platinum Partner Day.

Barr said Asia Pacific is a key growth region, driven by its expanding footprint across Australia and New Zealand, local team and client relationships.

“As we continue to invest in our teams, technology and service offering, we’re well-positioned for further growth and to support TAG’s broader global ambitions,” Barr told attendees.

“TAG continues to build strong momentum globally and the past year has been a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our teams across every region.

The conference was held at the W Melbourne and The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne and also featured TAG’s annual Partner Appreciation Dinner at Higher Ground, a Partner Showcase and annual TAGGIE Awards, celebrating achievements across the APAC business, followed by a DJ set from Eric Powell.

Barr said TAG Amplify continues to play an important role in bringing the global network together to celebrate success, strengthen industry partnerships and share future business strategies.
