Travel consultants teamed up with Trafalgar to gave their clients an authentic foodie experience of Italy without even boarding a plane from South Australia.
Travel Associates from South Australia along with Trafalgar and TV Chef Adam Swanson delivered the rare dining experience in a bid to tempt them into booking a trip to Italy.
The local version of an Italian Culinary Adventure Chef Adam guide the 35 clients through a tour of ‘Italy’ and immerse themselves in La Dolce Vita.
Described as a “simply magical day”, activities included a stop at the market markets at Lucia’s for a coffee, stops at stalls for various tastings, followed by a trip to the Barossa Valley, visiting Adam’s restaurant, Barossa Cucina.
At Barossa Cucina, a few lucky participants helped make pizzas, and the whole group enjoyed the taste sensations that make up great Italian food, washed down with Italian wine.
By the end of the tip, clients were so full but hungry for a trip to the great European country.
