The fifth and final Sell your way to the USA famil incentive trip has wrapped after a raft of cool-as experiences in Anchorage, Alaska. Thanks to American Airlines and Visit Anchorage, the three travel advisors were treated to a winning itinerary in a winter wonderland.
After a whopping five famils to the US, the final Sell your way to the USA trip departed Australia on 1 February 2023 for Anchorage to experience a destination that’s both urban and wild by nature.
The winning agents, Alice Fisher (Flight Centre Broadway), Alfina Maugeri (Flight Centre Baulkham Hills) and Cory Edmondson (ecruising Travel), enjoyed bucket-list winter activities and adventures.
They tried snowshoeing with Go Hike Alaska, ice fishing with The Bait Shack and driving a sled dog team with Alaska Sled Dog Tours.
They also went fat-tire biking with Alaska Trail Guides, experienced an Alaska Backcountry Adventure snowmobile tour and checked out the activities at Alyeska Resort including the newly opened Alyeska Nordic Spa, Alaska’s first Nordic spa.
Craft beer was also on the menu with a Big Swig Tours trip to three of Anchorage’s finest breweries and dinner at 49th State Brewing Co.
The trip winner also celebrated 100 years of the Alaska Railroad on a train journey from Anchorage to Talkeetna.
Visit Anchorage Senior Sales Manager Tia Froehle, who along with Katy Ouellette hosted the group, said: “I loved watching Alice, Alfina and Cory just take in the magical snow adventure season we have here in Anchorage.”
“From the large snowflakes that fell on their faces, puppy kisses and their excitement of seeing their first moose and then many more to riding the rails on our iconic Alaska Railroad and then ending our busy week soaking away at our new Nordic Spa at Alyeska Resort, we absolutely had snow much fun!”
