Shopping recommendations aren’t generally lucrative for Travel Agents unless it’s one specific recommendation – the ‘Shop Until You Drop Off’ package at The Citadel Outlets in L.A.

As Travel Agents on the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Mega-Fam recently discovered, The Citadel Outlets in L.A. offers commission for every client booked on the VIP ‘Shop Until Your Drop Off’ package.

It’s a win, win, said Cynthia Schmitt, the outlet’s Director of International Sales and Marketing, because the Agents are rewarded for selling and their clients receive a shopping experience they’ll never forget.

WHAT WILL MY CLIENTS LOVE ABOUT SHOPPING AT THE CITADEL OUTLETS?

It’s not just shopping, it’s an experience.

The Citadel Outlets have teamed up with Karmel Shuttle to provide those on the ‘Shop Until Your Drop Off’ package a pick up from their hotel to the outlet.

Once driving through the recreated Ancient Assyrian gates, they’ll be escorted to a VIP lounge where they can check in their luggage and enjoy refreshments, including Mimosas.

From there, they’ll receive their international passport full of exclusive store discounts and head off to shop.

As a VIP shopper, they’ll be able to regularly return to the lounge to rest their feet or drop off their new purchases before heading out for more shopping.

Other perks of the package include room to re-pack their luggage, access to a scale so that they can re-weigh their bags, an on-site foreign currency exchange, and a shuttle straight to the airport.

WHY IS THIS IDEAL FOR AUSSIE TRAVELLERS?

Aside from the crazy offers? A way to pass the final day.

As Cynthia Schmitt explained, the final day in Los Angeles can sometimes feel like a throwaway because check out is at 11.00am but flights don’t depart until late in the evening.

Booking the package helps fill the time and provides travellers with transportation to and from their hotel, the outlets and the airport.

“Travel Agents make commissionoff of it and it solves the problem of what to do on the last day in Los Angeles.”
