Travellers Choice has revealed details of its 2024 national conference, one that promises to be an adventure… in more ways than one.
To take place at the Hilton Sydney from 1-3 November, the conference is themed “Travelution”, which is a play on “revolution – though it could work with evolution too.
As it looks to give its members a competitive edge in a competitive industry, Travellers Choice has recruited high-profile Australian adventurer James Castrission as its keynote speaker.
To help members adopt an “explorer mindset”, ‘Cas’ will share insights on pushing human limits during his address and interactive workshop.

A dual Guinness World Record-holder, Cas and friend Justin Jones completed the longest unsupported polar expedition of all time in 2012, trekking for 89 days to the South Pole. In 2008, they kayaked 3,318km unassisted across the Tasman Sea in the longest transoceanic double kayak expedition.
With this experience under his belt, Castrission now helps businesses achieve goals through his company, MyAdventure Group.
The network’s Managing Director, Christian Hunter, says the conference theme shows the group’s commitment to constant innovation and indeed, revolution.
“Travellers Choice has always been revolutionary when it comes to supporting independent travel businesses,” Hunter said.

“As members will see, that process of continual evolution is perpetual, always with one purpose in mind: to ensure we find even better ways to help them reach their goals.
“It’s the reason we are the travel industry’s most-awarded network for independent travel agents.”
Attendees of this year’s conference can look forward to networking sessions, panel discussions and a preferred supplier showcase before the always entertaining Travellers Choice National Awards Gala Dinner.
