TravelManagers reports record-busting November, up 76% per PTM on 2019 sales

TravelManagers is on track for a strong finish to 2022 with another record-busting sales month in November: its best-ever November and third-best sales month on record, which EGM Michael Gazal said was fuelled by airline and land sales.

TravelManagers is on track for a strong finish to 2022 with another record-busting sales month in November: its best-ever November and third-best sales month on record, which EGM Michael Gazal said was fuelled by airline and land sales.

TravelManagers’ record-breaking November sales come as Australian travellers make up for lost time and reignite their passion for travel.

Europe, Asia and North America were the top destinations for sales volume in November 2022.

Multiple destinations showed strong growth compared with November 2019, including Australia (up 84 per cent), Europe (up 42 per cent), New Zealand (up 25 per cent), Fiji (up 16 per cent) and South Africa (up 14 per cent).

“Airline and land sales primarily fuelled growth with a strong showing from our luxury client base, thanks to our Signature Travel Network partnership,” Mr Gazal said.

He credited the result to the dedication of TravelManagers’ 400-plus personal travel managers (PTMs) and the National Partnership Office team.

“We recorded 76 per cent growth per PTM from November 2019 to November 2022 with more than 46 per cent growth per PTM from July to November 2022,” he said.

TravelManagers reported record sales in May, June and August and strong trading months for July, September and October in 2022.

“Our strong showing between July and November places our PTMs in a strong position for 2023,” Mr Gazal said.
