Ultra lucky Australian Travel Agents, Liam and Belinda, will find out if it really is ‘more fun in the Philippines’ after each winning return flights to the Southeast Asian country.
The pair won the return tickets in a competition hosted by the Philippine Department of Tourism and Philippines Airlines.
As part of the competition, entrants were asked to capture the beauty and culture of the island nation during the 2017 Fun Travel Experts Mega Famil and share it online.

Liam Lavery from Escape Travel in Victoria won with a two-minute video showcasing ocean and scenic life across the islands, while Belinda King from Global Work and Travel in Queensland won for sharing a picture of a woman diving into the Philippine’s pristine blue water.

Philippines Department of Tourism Australia & New Zealand’s Norjamin Delos Reyes said Liam and Belinda’s social media posts were handpicked for their creativity and ability to demonstrate the “fun and beautiful” surroundings in the Philippines.
“With the influence of social media in today’s society, we wanted to ensure that the new group of fun travel experts were well equipped with the know-how and skills to highlight and emphasise what the Philippines has to offer across social channels.”
